Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...

We know... we suck... it has been nearly three months since our last post.

It's not as if I did not intend to post or even began a post. It's that something always seemed more enjoyable and a little less like... well... work.

I guess I figured I would rather paint the girls toes, water my flowers, or cuddle with my handsome hubby.

The past few months have just really been truly wonderful. Nothing too eventful, just the way I like it.

It has been such a joy staying home with the kids. I realize we are very blessed that I have this opportunity.

Today, I took a few snapshots of the kids. Dayton is heading to 2nd grade next month and Ellie to 1st. I love that I get to see their faces every morning and wake to their giggles.

Madeline is already 3 1/2 months old and she has found her voice. Oh boy, it is loud!

Look Who's Laughin' Now!

Our lil' Maddie Moo is such a riot. She is such a happy baby, especially in the mornings. She seems to be growing up so fast. She is a major chatterbox, just like her sister and knows exactly when to bat those long eyelashes of hers.

Her favorite thing to do is take a bath. She loves the water and loves to just float on her back and kick her legs like crazy. It is something I vividly remember her doing when she was in utero. Those strong legs and arms would keep me up every night kicking for hours.

I definitely prefer the headbutts on the outside, rather than those kicks to the crotch on the inside. OUCH!!!

Madeline's Newborn Photos

We had little Madeline's pictures taken a few weeks back and we finally received them today. I am so in love with my little Maddie Moo. She will be 6 weeks old on Monday and I can not believe how much she has changed.

Her smile melts our hearts and I can only say she was worth every challenge it took to get her here. We are now just enjoying life with this beautiful blessing.

March Madness

This month in our home has not been one of the college basketball kind. But, it definitely has been filled with excitement and many fans.
It has been such a joy to have little Madeline in our home and family. We all can't get enough of her. I wanted to post some updated pictures for family and friends who are far away or who have been too sick to visit. We love and miss you all.

Introducing Madeline Paris

Finally, we welcomed our sweet baby girl Madeline to our family on March 2nd, 2009. After a 5 day hospital stay for Maddie to receive further monitoring and testing for a suspected heart defect, she was able to come home with us on March 7th, 2009. This, ironically, was Spencer's Birthday. He says he received the greatest gift ever this year. Happy Birthday, Babe!
